JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM

SOUTH HANOVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

CLICK HERE TO VOLUNTEER FOR JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT AT SOUTH HANOVER

Junior Achievement (JA) programs empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world – enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school. JA lessons focus on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.

JA will be a part of each classroom in grades 1-5 for the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking for community volunteers who would be interested and willing to teach JA lessons to our students. All of the materials for these lessons are provided by JA, so you do not need any experience teaching or working with students. There are five lessons, each 30-45 minutes, that you will schedule with the classroom teacher at a mutually convenient time.
