School Social Worker
I am entering my 12th year within Lower Dauphin School District's Price School. I was a High School Emotional Support Teacher at the Price School for my first 8 years. I am extremely honored and excited to be entering my second year as the School Social Worker. Before joining the Lower Dauphin School District I was an Emotional Support teacher within the East Pennsboro School District for 3 years, as well as the Capital Area Intermediate Unit for 1 year. I completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Special Education at East Stroudsburg University. I received my Master's Degree in Special Education from Shippensburg University. I also completed a Master's Degree in Social Work at Temple University. I am a Licensed Social Worker and have worked within an Out-Patient Therapy setting over the past four years.
The Price School is a Full-Time Emotional Support program that utilizes a group process approach to address daily issues in a constructive manner. The student's and staff within the Price School are expected to follow a series of values known as the "Falcon Pact." It is the programs goal to encourage both positive social and emotional growth within the group.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at any time. The Price School staff is looking forward to making the 2013-2014 school year a meaningful one for each student!
