Lower Dauphin

School District

Under state law, the Lower Dauphin School District is required to allow parents or guardians to homeschool their children as an option to compulsory school attendance.

The district endeavors to work with families to provide the best possible education for their children. The district ensures that all the state requirements are being met at the start of each school year. At the end of the year, the district reviews the student's portfollio and materials as required by state regulations.

Currently there are 60-plus students being homeschooled in Lower Dauphin.
