Curriculum Guide
Course Title: CP & Honors Chemistry Subject: Science Grade Level(s): 10-12 Synopsis of CurriculumThis course is designed to give students a basic understanding of chemical principles. Upon completion of this course students should have the skills and content necessary to succeed in college level science courses. Major topics covered are atomic structure, bonding, reactions, states of matter, and solutions. Since there is an emphasis on both the theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry, students should expect an emphasis on problem solving and laboratory work. This course is especially designed to prepare students planning to attend college who must complete a lab-based science course.
