Curriculum Guide
Course Title: Environment & Ecology Subject: Science Grade Level(s): 9 Synopsis of CurriculumThis course is designed to instruct students in selected state Environment and Ecology standards that are correlated to the Keystone Biology exam. Major units of study include: earth’s environmental systems, population ecology, and evolution and community ecology. Emphasis will be placed on how the students personally interact with their environment. Each unit will be taught using an inquiry approach, laboratory exercises, simulations, and additional investigative techniques.
